Edward Bloom was very prideful in everything that he did, a man of his word. Not prideful in a negative obnoxious way, but in a positive way. He made sure everything he did was in the most of his ability making sure he gave his all. Because he took so much pride in the things he did I believe this made him a well-liked and desirable individual. Edward is unstoppable, constant and consistent. Edward constantly keeps a positive outlook on his goal and what is to come. And he constantly aims towards his goals until they are reached. This allowed. His positive outlook made others want to surround there selves with his presents. I believe the old saying what you hang around is what you become. Because the other characters wanted better and were always in search for better is why they liked Edward so much. They were inspired by his ethics. He was positive, his own motivation. Something everyone would like to be for their selves.  The first seen that illustrates this is when he arrives at the perfect town on accident or what they say to early. All though everything was perfect and great Edward did not stop and lose focus of his mission, the reason before he stumbled across this place. He did not let the fact that the little girl through his shows at the top of the electric wire stopped him but he continued and pushed on, to the next thing. He also did not hold anger toward her. She asked him to promise to return in which he did. He kept his word to her. Another seen that shows Edward character was the time that he worked for the circus. He was working for the littlest things . he was gaining little bits of information of a girl that was not even guaranteed to marry him as he would always claim . He did the most ridiculous things such as scooping horse poop , placing his head in tigers mouths and working booths and rides. This showed the people that  he was not willing to give up on the one thing that he truly wanted
